LAP T/M is a workspace/gallery where students and alumni of textile and fashion design get a chance to work and organize a variety of events like: exhibitions, lectures, movie nights etc. This project aims to get students involved with their professional work field in an early stage of their career.
With it’s perfect location in the citycenter of the Hague, bright spaces and a dynamic interior it offers the students and alumni everything they need to make it a place to work and expose.

Right now LAPt/m has 3 participants:
Natasja Admiraal, fashion design graduate
“In my fashion collections I like to use uncommon and contrasting materials. My latest collection, called ‘Kick the covers,’ consists of forceful but feminine garments. With the designs you can go into your shell; expose or just conceal yourself. LAP t/m gives us the opportunity to present ourselves in a professional way.”

Amber Scholten, fashion design graduate
“For me, fashion is the way to bring images to talk, images of the world around me, images of everyday situations. These images inspire me to create forms on the body or even isolated of the body. In this way they help me to understand the time and place we live in. With LAPt/m I found a wonderful workspace, which gives me a new possibillity to deal with fashion in a new way, in my own way.”
Geanne Welles, textile design graduate
“I think it is really important for a design student to take all the chances you have to get involved with your workfield in a professional way. LAPt/m gives me that oppurtunity. I like to work from a personal interest rather than a concept that needs to be explained. My textiles are mostly products and fabrics for interior, but I also like to do fine art projects”
