Residence de la mode @ LAP t/m
Thursday, October 29th, 2009LAP t/m has been part of Residence de la mode, the parcours of the Dutch Fashion Awards.
Circuit is an installation of interior and four garments, in which beams are both a metaphor and a visual connection element. In the garments, you can see the wavy shape in the form of pleats, ribbons and a round cut. In the room this is reflected with digital prints and three-dimensional shapes against the walls. Like a circuit. The viewer is looking at a colourful, playful landscape.
Circuit is a collaboration between Neeltje Schoenmaker, Lidewij Corstiaans and Annemarije van Harten. Three designers graduated from the KABK in 2007, 2008 and 2009. In their own work they use the same colours and materials, fluid shapes and a playful character: therfore a collaboration was a logical step.
The 3D-installation is movable and can be set in every location.
“Inspiring Culture” is an exhibition of the historical and ethnic costumes of selected students of the fashion and textile department of the KABK: Geo Timmermans, Lotte Mostert, Marjolijn Damhuis, Evelien van benthem, Natasja Admiraal, Amber Scholten, Geanne Welles, Janneke Lemmers, Wies Preijde, Lidewij Corstiaans.
